Prof Madya Dr Norsiah Fauzan

Prof Madya Dr Norsiah Fauzan obtained her Doctor of Philosophy during the years 2000-2003 in the field of Cognitive psychology (Faculty of Social Science and Health, University of Durham, Uk), Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Univ. of Houston, Texas, USA) where she learnt about Cognitive and Educational Psychology. Her area of specialization was in meta-analysis and meta-ethnography (the psychological methods of synthesizing quantitative and qualitative studies) and Neurotherapy (EEG Training).

She actively involved in intervention research using Neurofeedback training for the slow learners and disabled children (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Dyslexia and Alzheimers).  She have been involved in 21 research projects in the area of research synthesis, sociology of education and cognition; completed 5 projects on social Cognition and learning funded by STIDC and Yayasan Sarawak and 5 projects related to Research Synthesis (Meta-analysis, meta-ethnography and Neurotherapy) funded by UNIMAS and one project in collaboration with a colleague in University of London (meta-ethnography).
